Fine-pored silica gel
(Type
A silica gel)
Properties and Applications: colorless or slightly yellow glassy substance with
relatively fine pores and higher specific surface area, suitable for moisture
absorption and used as an agent for protection from moisture and rust formation,
and dehydration and refinery of organic chemical products.
Main Specifications: Water absorption capacity:

Type B silica gel
Properties and Applications: spherical beads with medium-sized pores, used as a
moisture absorbent for humidity-resisting packing, humidity regulation, catalyst
carrier, deodorant, etc.
Main specifications: Water absorption capacity:
RH=20%:3%,
RH=50%:10% ,
RH=90%:50% ;
pH value: 5.5-7.5;
Specific resistance:5000Ω•cm
min;
Bulk density:500-600g/l.
Packing:15kg per compound bag, 20kg per drum, 300kg per sack.
Macro-pored silica gel
Properties and Applications: white spherical beads with larger pores and smaller
specific surface area, used as a catalyst carrier, desiccant and an agent for
removing organic acids from insulating oils.
Main specifications: Bulk density:400g/l min;
Pore volume:0.76 ml/g min.
Packing:15 kg per composite bag. 20 kg per drum.
Blue silica gel
Properties and Applications: blue, semi-transparent
glassy substance, there are three varieties: blue gel, chromotropic silica gel
and blue silica gel , used as a humidity indicator, desiccant, or used together
with fine-pored silica gel.
